NAVAGRAHAS, Their Direction & the associated trees

In Hindu mythology, the Navgraha (नव ग्रह, Nine planets)are considered powerful cosmic forces that influence human life. Each planet is associated with a specific tree and direction which are often used in remedies, spiritual practises and Vastu.(वास्तु).I’m trying to give a detailed explanation of the each Graha.

The first planet is known SUN(सूर्य).The tree associated with Surya is ARKA (मदार) .The direction of SUN is east. SUN represents power authority and vitality. Worshipping Surya facing East and planting आक /मदार is believed to enhance confidence and health.

The second planet is Moon(चंद्र ).Direction of this planet is Northwest and the tree associated with planet is Palash(पलाश). Moon symbolises peace, emotions, and mind. The tree is considered for cooling and spiritually purifying

The third planet is Mars (मंगल), Direction of Mangal is South & associated tree is KHADIRA (खैर) . It Represents strength, courage and energy Khair plant helps balance aggression and brings stability.
